  Not the best WiFi

  Stefi was the greatest host ever, just by being so friendly we were convinced we want to stay one extra night and she helped us arrange it. The overall design of the room and bathroom (room # 26) is very pleasant and modern. The food at the restaurant was very good and interesting. The fact that we could actually connect our phones to the smart TV was a nice plus (usually at other hotels with smart TV's it doesn't work).

  The cleaning service was not that great: We didn't mind that the towels were not changed every day or beds made every day, but what lacked was the fact that the shower gel and shampoo were not checked and refilled more regularly. When we arrived we didn't have shower gel, so we asked for it (that is no problem), but until the end of our stay (4 nights) it was never refilled and in the last morning we had to use the handsoap (shampoo was also empty) to take a shower. Tip: The pillows were very uncomfortable in our opinion. After the 2nd night, we already had neck pain, but this might be just our opinion.

  The terras with the wirhpool was dark. I wanted to read there, but it was not possible. The sauna was great.

  The service level op the employees was extremely high and we enjoyed it very much. This was for us the reason we chose your hotel because all the references referred to the nice staff and the service. And we couldn’t agree more.

  Maybe the choice of music in the restaurant was not our favour.

  The room was up to date with all amenities. The beds where good. Breakfast was great. You could choose between two versions. The staff anticipated our needs and were hospitable. We felt very welcome. The sunny terras was a very nice place to enjoy the afternoon with a freshly tapped Weissen beer. The provided Sauerland-pass offered free bus and train transport.

  I like my breakfast coffee stronger. Directions from the Rothaarsteig to the hotel are missing: The shortest route from the sign at 14.1 KM
