Die Lage und die sehr freundlichen Gastgeberinnen

  Atemberaubende Lage direkt am Oeschinensee. Die Zimmer sind gemütlich und modern alpin gestaltet. Wer morgens mit Blick auf den See aufwachen will, ohne den Trubel des Tagestourismus, für den ist das Arva Berggasthaus genau das Richtige. Der Service ist top, das Abendessen superlecker und ansprechend angerichtet.

  Sehr herzlicher Empfang. Exzellente Küche Sehr schönes und liebevoll eingerichtetes Zimmer Fantastische Lage ein bisschen abseits vom Touristengedränge

  .... wie auf unsere Wünsche und Fragen eingegangen wurde. .... wie die Mitarbeiter sich vor den Gästen verständigten und unterstützen. .... wie die Lokalitäten eingerichtet waren und wie das Frühstücksbuffet mit viel Liebe präsentiert wurde.

  The friendliness and attention to detail and multi-lingual service of all staff, but especially also of Manager Nicola Mohler, was superb, despite the long and busy working hours they all undoubtedly had. I also really appreciated how clean and well-maintained the facilities were, the comfortable bed and the excellent shower (even if the actual shower cubicle was rather on the small side). The quality of the food was great, with emphasis on local ingredients (if I understood correctly - maybe this could be made more explicit?), and it was nice to have linen napkins at dinner (rather than paper). The friendly and uncomplicated atmosphere lent itself well to relaxing, despite the actual site being quite busy and somewhat overrun during the day.

  According to the notice in the room, there should have been wifi available, but it never seemed to work, with a single exception at the restaurant, and only for a few minutes during breakfast. Anyway, it was not a problem to be disconnected for two days. This is just another tiny, tiny detail, but somehow the tea I had twice never really had a strong flavour, despite the fact that I let it steep for well over 10 minutes. Not sure why. Maybe too much hot water for the tea bag? And potentially bone china tea cups could be nicer than the aluminium (camping) mugs.

  Wir waren rundum zufrieden mit dem ganzen Service. Das Abendessen draussen auf der kleinen aber feinen Terrasse war besonders schön.
